Can I make payments over time to pay for my disney trip or do I need to pay the full amount at checkout?

Welcome to planDisney, Jordan! How exciting that you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World! The initial planning is my favorite, from researching the different Disney Resort hotels to deciding where to try and get a dining reservation for my family, it is all so fun!

One of the awesome things about booking your Walt Disney World vacation on the website is that you can reserve your reservation with just a $200 deposit. Your final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival, and you can make payments at any time on the MyDisneyExperience website. So, while there is no actual payment plan, you can kind of make your own!

You can begin budgeting for your trip by purchasing Disney Gift Cards at a local warehouse club store (with maybe a small discount), or at the Disney Gift Card website. I try to purchase at least one gift card each time I find myself with a little extra cash. You can combine these cards on the Disney Gift Card website (up to $1000 per card), and then use them to pay for some of your vacation. .

I hope this helps with your vacation planning! Please come back to planDisney with other questions that come up as you continue this journey.

    Happy Planning,
    Tracy

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
