Most payments are by card now, but we'd still bring a small amount of cash in notes. Is there anywhere around Disney we can change the notes for coins so I can leave tips for Mousekeeping for example, and to get the dollar coins for pressing?

Welcome to planDisney, Julie! I'm so glad you stopped by with this great question. It makes me happy to know Mickey Mouse has friends around the globe who come to visit Walt Disney World Resort. It's the Most Magical Place on Earth, after all.

You are thoughtful to think of tip money and a great planner to remember the Coin Press Machines. When my son was younger, he had quite the collection of pressed Disney pennies!

You're wise to use a credit card for larger transactions during your stay, and you can exchange small amounts of currency at the Front Desk at your Disney Resort Hotel and any Guest Relations location at the theme parks. Currency availability and rates may vary, but I'm sending pixie dust and pennies for luck!

One of my favorite tips is to purchase a Disney Gift Card a few months before your visit. I like to add funds to the card online at my convenience so I can use the card to pay for meals and souvenirs by the time I'm in the magic. It's like a digital piggy bank for my trip!

Julie, I hope your next Walt Disney World visit is RICH in memories, and I hope you TREASURE your time there. Please stop by planDisney anytime. We'd be FORTUNEate to have you!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
