Hi Stacy, welcome to planDisney!
I also like to make payments over time on my Walt Disney World vacations and have them paid in full prior to my arrival. My preference is to use a
Disney Gift Card when making a payment. I purchase Disney Gift Cards at retailers that offer them at a discount. It's a great way to save a little extra on your Disney vacation!
Depending on what type of reservation you made for your Walt Disney World vacation, you may or may not be able to make payments online. If you booked a
Walt Disney World Vacation Package you should be able to pay online in the "
My Plans" section of My Disney Experience. Scroll down to your reservation information, click on the "Show Details" link and you should see a "Make Payment" link next to the balance due amount.
If you booked a room-only reservation, or you don't have a link available to make a payment, you can call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to speak to a cast member directly. They will be more than happy to apply a payment towards your reservation. This is also a great time to add any room requests you may have to your reservation.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Stacy. I'd also like to recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog as you await the arrival of your Walt Disney World vacation. I find it's a great way to learn about fun things you can experience on your next Disney vacation. For example, they just featured a story giving us a sneak peek at a new mural that will be coming to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure which is expected to open in late 2024 (subject to change).
Have a magical vacation!
Diane
