planDisney, Kate! Thanks so much for stopping in to visit us with your question about the
Walt Disney World Resort!
If you have booked your vacation package directly through the
Walt Disney World Resort webpage, you may have the option to make a payment directly through your
My Disney Experience account. If you don't have an account yet, it's super easy to set up! I encourage you to do so as soon as you can.
To see if this option is available for your reservation, sign into your My Disney Experience account and hold your mouse over My Disney Experience in the top right corner of the page. Click on "My Plans" on the menu that appears and when this page loads, you will see your reservation information. If your reservation is not showing, you will need to
link it to your account.
Once linked, you may see "Remaining Balance" with a "Make a Payment" link. If you see this link, you may click on the link and follow the prompts to make your payment. If you do not see an option for payment, you will need to call (407) 939-5277 to speak to a Cast Member to make that payment.
It’s important to note that room only reservations can only be paid for in advance by calling the resort. Removing a person from your reservation does not really affect the price you pay per night, unless theme park tickets are linked to that person in a package. To modify a package, you would also need to speak to a Cast Member.
