Has the payment policy changed? Can we not pay our balance at arrival?

Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer! In just a few short weeks, you will be enjoying your magical summer vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for stopping in with your planning question.

When you book a stay at a hotel within the Disney Resorts Collection, you will be asked to pay for a portion of your balance at the time of your booking. On the last night of your trip, the credit card you have on file will automatically be charged.

Any purchases you make with your MagicBand during your adventures at the theme parks will also show up on that final bill. I use my band all the time during my vacations! I know that all my charges will go to my Resort hotel bill at the end, so it’s easier to keep track of what I’ve spent.

Jennifer, did you know that you can also pay off your hotel balance with a Disney Gift Card? Just head to the Front Desk of your hotel on the last night of your stay to take care of that balance. Then when you wake up and get ready to head home, you will be good to go!

I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to put those finishing touches on your upcoming visit. Feel free to drop in again with any other questions you might have. It’s always our pleasure to help you!
