Welcome to planDisney, Corina! I am so glad you came to us with your question!
By visiting the official Walt Disney World website, you can book a vacation package for January 2022 at this time. When on the site, you can reserve your reservation with just a $200 deposit. Your final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival, and you can make payments at any time on the
MyDisneyExperience website. So, while there is no ACTUAL payment plan, you can kind of make your own!
You can also begin budgeting for your trip by purchasing Disney Gift Cards at a local warehouse club store (with maybe a small discount), or at the
Disney Gift Card website. I try to purchase at least one gift card each paycheck, for at least $100. You can then use the gift cards to pay for some of your vacation. In the past, our family has also cashed in our change jars in our house for money towards our Walt Disney World vacation or for spending money.
Once you book your vacation package, you will want to be sure to create your MyDisneyExperience profile and link your reservation. Once that is done, you can make your
theme park reservations for January. I know it is a lot to think about right away, but these can usually be changed, so I recommend booking them ASAP.
At 60 days before your trip, you will be able to begin booking dining reservations, if you plan to try some of the awesome Disney restaurants. My family usually books one sit-down meal for each day, just so we know that we will have a break with some delicious food. In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a family favorite is the
50’s Prime Time Café. The “A Sampling of Mom’s Favorite Recipes” is large enough for two people to share, with enough room for dessert!
I hope this helps with your planning! Please come back and visit us again with more Walt Disney World vacation questions!
Happy Planning,
Tracy
