Welcome to planDisney, Beth! The initial planning of a Walt Disney World is my favorite, from researching the different Disney Resort hotels to deciding where to eat to which park to attend each day, I find it all so fun.
One of the best things about booking your Walt Disney World vacation on the
website is that you can reserve your reservation with just a $200 deposit. Your final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival, and you can make payments at any time on the MyDisneyExperience website. So, while there is no actual payment plan, you can kind of make your own!
You can begin budgeting for your trip by purchasing Disney Gift Cards at a local warehouse club store (with maybe a small discount), or at the
Disney Gift Card website. I try to purchase at least one gift card each time I find myself with a little extra cash. You can combine these cards on the Disney Gift Card website (up to $1000 per card), and then use them to pay for some or all of your vacation.
Be sure to add
Memory Maker onto your vacation package. There have been so many new “magic shots” added recently for the 50th Anniversary. One of my favorites is blowing confetti, I have found this in front of Cinderella Castle, the Main Street Train Station, and Spaceship Earth. There are also PhotoPass cameras in thirteen different attractions, all of which would be included in your Memory Maker.
I hope this helps with planning for your April vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Happy Planning,
Tracy
