Howdy, howdy, howdy, Corie! Welcome to planDisney, I am so glad you found us to ask your Walt Disney World question.
When booking your vacation on either the official
Walt Disney World website or with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, a package with tickets and resort requires only a $200 deposit to lock in your rates. Then, your final payment is due just 30 days before you check-in. At any time you or your Travel Agent can make payments to Disney in any amount. So, while there is no official payment plan, you can absolutely make up your own.
I like to budget for my Disney vacations by purchasing Disney Gift Cards from a local store with a slight discount. I save all of these and then combine them on the
Disney Gift Card website into $1000 cards. Then, I can pay all or most of my vacation package off with them. I keep buying gift cards and combining them up until we travel. That way, I have a LOT of our food and souvenirs paid off before we arrive.
When booking your package, be sure to add the
Memory Maker option. Not only do you save $30 by purchasing in advance, but this is also the perfect way to document your Walt Disney World vacation. Memory Maker includes all professional photos taken in all four theme parks, thirteen attraction photos, and “magic shots”. With WDW celebrating its 50th Anniversary, there are some awesome magic shots available.
I hope this helps with planning a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
