My payment for a magic key but I have yet to get a confirmation email. What could that mean?

Hi Samantha! Welcome to planDisney, and congratulations on joining the Magic Key family. As someone who has renewed my pass year after year, I know how exciting it feels to keep the magic going with another year of adventures at the Disneyland Resort.

Let’s talk about that confirmation email. The first step I recommend is giving your email inbox a careful search. Sometimes, these messages can sneak into the spam or junk folders, so it’s worth checking there. To help avoid that in the future, you may want to add the Disneyland Resort’s email address to your contacts. If you don’t spot it in any of those folders, the next step would be to reach out directly to the Magic Key Guest Services Line. A Cast Member will be able to review your account, confirm your purchase, and resend a new confirmation email if needed.

One of the best parts of being a Magic Key holder is enjoying the unique perks sprinkled throughout the year. During Halloween Time, for example, you’ll find exclusive treats like the Kuzco Poison Sipper, inspired by The Emperor’s New Groove. If your plans include attending Oogie Boogie Bash, you can also look forward to a commemorative button set featuring Lock, Shock, and Barrel from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, along with a special candy treat. And, of course, Magic Key discounts on dining and merchandise are available year-round, offering little boosts of pixie dust every time you shop or dine in the parks.

Oogie Boogie Bash also offers experiences you won’t want to miss. This year, Syndrome will be stirring up mischief over on Pixar Pier, while Maleficent reclaims her fiery spotlight in Grizzly Peak. And Villains Grove is returning once again. This after-dark transformation of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is one of my favorite parts of the evening. The glowing lights, swirling fog, and haunting soundscapes make you feel like you’ve stepped into a storybook realm of villains. For the smoothest experience, I suggest heading there during the first parade, when crowds tend to be lighter.

Samantha, I hope these tips help you feel more confident as you settle into your first year as a Magic Key holder. With exclusive perks, seasonal surprises, and so many ways to make memories, you’re in for a year filled with Disney magic. Please visit us again at planDisney whenever you’d like more tips. We’re always happy to help keep the magic alive.

Wishing you a year of wonderful Disney days,
    David
