How does paying for shore excursions work? Can we prepay them or do they just get put on our credit card and we pay when we get back?

Kate, welcome aboard! Disney Cruise Line makes paying for your Port Adventures very easy. They will all be charged to your onboard account. If you would like to pay ahead toward your onboard account (which will be used for any charges you make on the ship, Port Adventures, tips, etc...), simply call Disney Cruise Line and they will take the payment.

I like to do this so that we don't have one big lump sum to pay later. A little here and there put on the onboard account before we sail helps spread out the payments. When you get to your stateroom on embarkation day, you will find a card that lets you know how much onboard credit you have.

Of course, you do not need to pay ahead of time. The charges you incur while onboard will be billed to your onboard account which will be charged to the credit card you have listed at the end of the cruise.

There are so many wonderful Port Adventures that Disney has spent quite a bit of time and effort planning, so you can trust that each of them will be a great experience.

    Have fun, and happy cruising!
