    when paying for meals with the Disney Dining plan using the magic band, can I scan my band to pay for the whole family's meals or does each person have to scan their own magic band?

    Hi, Nancy! Each MagicBand can access the entire pool of entitlements for your whole travel party, so you can purchase your whole family's meals by scanning only your MagicBand. All of your Disney Dining Plan entitlements will be accessible to each of you using your MagicBands at any time. My kids and I love for my husband to go grab breakfast for all of us and bring it back to the room while we get ready. It saves time so we can hit the parks quickly. Also, my kids have reached the ages (16 and 14) when they like to venture off on their own at times.  I love that they can access the Dining Plan entitlements to grab a snack or a meal even when they aren't with me and my husband. In my opinion, this adds to the benefits and flexibility of the Disney Dining Plan. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
