We want to pay for our trip with Disney gift cards. Can I make multiple payments of $500 (that’s the largest amount I can purchase at Target at a time)?

    Hi Angela,
Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

Oh how I love Disney Gift Cards! Even better, I love purchasing them at a discount to make my vacation dollars go just a little further each time I visit.

You have a couple of choices regarding payments for your vacation. Yes, you may make multiple $500 payments until your balance is paid in full.  Alternately, you may also use the Disney Gift Card website to combine gift cards until the value of a single card is $1000.  I purchased many small denomination gift cards from my local warehouse club for a cruise I took this past spring and combined them prior to having my travel agent pay the balance of our cruise. I'm certain she was quite thankful!

Just another tip to keep in mind: you may use gift cards to pay for your resort bill as well. I often stopped by the front desk and paid my balance during my visit. In the past, I was able to apply the value of the card to my resort room upon check in, but I understand this is not always the case, so your mileage may vary.

Angela, please come back again and visit with any additional questions about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
