can i pay for my resort in cash

    Hello Friend,

Thank you for reaching out to planDisney! I'm happy to help with your question about paying for your resort stay at Walt Disney World Resort.

The ability to pay for your resort in cash depends on the type of reservation you have made.

If you have a room-only reservation at a Disney Resort hotel, you will need to provide a credit or debit card to secure your booking. This card will typically be charged for the deposit required at the time of booking. Once you arrive at the resort, you can visit the front desk to pay for the remainder of your stay in cash. Be sure to inform the Cast Member at check-in that you would like to settle your balance with cash to avoid any charges being placed on your card.

However, if you have a Disney Resort Hotel Package reservation, which includes park tickets and possibly a dining plan, it must be prepaid in full before your arrival. In this case, you cannot use cash upon arrival for the remaining balance.

A useful tip: you can opt to use cash to purchase a Disney Gift Card. You can then use the gift card to pay for your reservation either before your travel or upon arrival. This allows you to manage your payments in cash while still meeting the requirements of the reservation system.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us again. We're here to help make your visit as magical and seamless as possible.

Best wishes for a wonderful trip,
