How can I pay the remaining balance for my stay at The Grand Californian before I check in.

Welcome to planDisney, Tiffany! Staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is such a treat. While the guest rooms are wonderful, the lobby truly steals the show. Between the soaring Craftsman-style design, the glowing fireplace, and the soft piano music often playing in the background, it’s one of those places that invites you to slow down and soak in the atmosphere. Let’s take a look at how you can take care of your remaining hotel balance before check-in.

To pay the remaining balance on your reservation ahead of time, you can contact the Disneyland Hotel Reservations line and speak with a Cast Member. Be sure to have your reservation number handy (you’ll find it in your confirmation email), along with your preferred form of payment. Cast Members can assist with full or partial payments, and any remaining balance can be settled in person when you arrive for check-in.

Since you’ll be staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels, you’ll also enjoy some convenient perks during your visit. One of my favorites is the Grand Californian’s private entrance into Disney California Adventure Park. It’s a beautiful, peaceful way to begin the day and drops you right into the rustic charm of Grizzly Peak. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a valid theme park ticket and the appropriate park reservation for Disney California Adventure if entering before 11:00 a.m. (or a reservation for either park if entering after 11:00 a.m.). During especially busy times, such as Early Entry, standard park opening, or special events like Oogie Boogie Bash, access through this entrance may be temporarily limited to hotel Guests.

Here’s a handy Q-Tip to tuck away: you don’t need a room key or theme park ticket to use the Grand Californian’s separate entrance that leads directly into the Downtown Disney District. It’s a fantastic option if you’d like to pop out for a meal or some shopping while still feeling close to the magic.

Tiffany, if any other questions come up as you prepare for your stay, we’d be delighted to help again here at planDisney. We’re always happy to assist as you plan a visit filled with special moments.

    Have a truly magical day!
