Do you have to pay for parking before you activate your annual passes for the first time?

    Congratulations Heather!

You’re going to Walt Disney World Resort! And not only are you going to The Most Magical Place on Earth, but you are going to keep going all yEAR long thanks to your Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass

You ask an excellent question! As you already know, one of the many perks of being an Annual Passholder is free standard parking at the theme parks. Although prior to activating your Annual Pass, you would have to pay for parking, you can choose to activate your Annual Pass at the Guest Relations at Disney Springs prior to entering the theme parks, as parking at Disney Springs is complimentary.

If you cannot do this and end up paying for parking, please keep your receipt on hand. Then, when you head to the Guest Relations window to activate your pass at the theme park of your choice, you can show the Cast Member the parking receipt, and they can issue you a refund. Hooray!

We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Heather. Have an enchanting visit!
