    Can you pay for your golf cart rental with disney gift cards??

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cynthia! I’m so excited to know that you have a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in the works for this Autumn. Thanks for stopping in with your question. 

    A stay at the Campsites or the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, offers lots of opportunities to enjoy so much more than visits to theme parks. This frontier themed resort gives you the chance to enjoy the great outdoors, Disney style! With horseback riding, wagon rides and even archery activities available for guests to enjoy at Tri-Cricle-D Ranch, there’s really something for everyone!

    Cynthia, I’m actually visiting Fort Wilderness the weekend after you are, and I just called to ask the same question! You absolutely can use Disney Gift Cards to pay for your Golf Cart Rental. What you should do before your arrival is give the rental office a quick call at (407) 824-2742 and let them know that you will be paying for your rental with a gift card. They can make a note on your reservation to make sure the credit card on file isn’t charged right away, because you will be picking up your cart and paying with the gift card. Or you can go ahead and make that payment over the phone with your gift card. It’s important to note, if you don’t call them ahead of time, the credit card on file will be charged the morning you are set to pick up your cart.
