Ahoy, Karin!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It looks like you are counting down to a March 2018 vacation with Disney Cruise Line! I'm sure you're already dreaming of relaxing by the
pool, watching the talented Disney Cruise Line performers in the
Walt Disney Theatre and experiencing some culinary delights when you rotate to the wonderfully themed main dining rooms.
There are so "minnie" reasons to love a Disney Cruise vacation that I understand wanting to be onboard as soon as possible. At this time, Disney Cruise Line does not offer any type of express check-in at any of their departure ports. But, what I can tell you is that they are very quick and efficient when it comes to embarkation and disembarkation. I've sailed with other cruise lines before and Disney Cruise Line definitely wins in this category! Since you want to start enjoying the ship as quickly as you can, I do have a few tips to make this happen. When you complete your Online Check-in, try to select an early Port Arrival Time. This time will coordinate with the boarding number you'll be given at the cruise terminal upon check-in. Once the ship is clear to welcome new Guests, boarding numbers will begin to be called. This is usually around 11:30 to 11:45 a.m. and they call the numbers fairly quickly once they start. I've been onboard with a plate full of food from
Cabanas before 11:45 a.m. several times, Karin!
I hope my answer is helpful with your plans. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
