Walt Disney World navigates the changes of 2021, they continue to stay vigilant and maintain a healthy and safe environment for Guests and Cast Members. One such way is Guests, staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, can use the
Direct-to-Room Online Check-in. This contactless process allows Guests to bypass the front desk. Through their
My Disney Experience mobile app, they receive Room Ready updates, Room Number information and location, Resort Map access, and room entry via your MagicBand or My Disney Experience mobile app.
Another such way is room preparation and one that may affect your request. And rightfully so, because
Mousekeeping is taking on a bigger task and in need of more time to prepare the rooms. Before Guest arrival, via recommendations from governmental authorities and health agencies, each room is thoroughly cleaned and floors are vacuumed and steamed. High-touch areas are especially given extra special attention, for peace of mind. Special attention is given to TV remotes, all door handles, and counter surfaces in the living area and bathrooms, amongst other obvious items we come in contact with. Guests will have the option to for-go daily light Mousekeeping or have the daily service. This modified service will include the removal of trash and towels, the replenishment of towels, and amenities (coffee, sugar, tea, lotion, soap, etc.), vacuuming, and the wiping of counter surfaces. Mousekeeping is working very hard to make sure your home is comfortable and safe. While paying for early check-in has never been an opinion in the past you can, during online check-in, make a note of your earlier arrival. And while Guests’ requests are not guaranteed it never hurts to ask. Before leaving your first Disney Resorts Collection hotel call down to the front desk and have them transfer your call to your next Home Away from Home and kindly put in your request. Bell Services will happily transfer your luggage from one Resort to the other and store it until your room is ready.
