    Should we pay more for the Disney ground transfer from Orlando to Cape Canaveral as opposed to another company?

    Welcome aboard, Van! 

    I always recommend utilizing Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation between the airport (or Disney resorts) and Port Canaveral. Disney takes care of all of the details, making your transition from land to sea very seamless, stress-free and magical. The whole family will be entertained with a Disney Cruise Line video previewing your upcoming cruise, and after that, the kids will be happy that Disney cartoons will be playing for the remained of your motor coach ride.

    Another advantage to using Disney's ground transportation is that your luggage can be checked in at your home airport and you will not need to see it again until it meets you in your cruise stateroom (as long as you're flying in the same morning you set sail). What a perk! I love that we don't have to hassle with our luggage. We pack our must-have's for the day in our carry-on bags and we're all set!

    The additional fee of $35 per person each way is certainly worth it for our family. After we disembark, we like knowing that we simply climb onboard the motor coach and meet our luggage back at our home airport again. We know Disney will provide the same reliable service we've always come to expect, so for us, we've always chosen Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation to Port Canaveral.

    I hope that information helps, Van. There are certainly other options out there that will deliver you easily to the port, some for less cost, so by no means is Disney your only option. But, we like the assurance of using Disney, so that is what we go for in my family.
