Ahoy there, Joanne, welcome aboard planDisney!
I love your plan to pay for your cruise. It almost feels like you get a discount when you pay smaller portions over time! Thankfully, Disney Cruise Line makes it super easy to
pay in installments. I'm assuming you've already paid your deposit for your 2026 cruise, so now you have two ways to pay. You can pay online through your Disney Cruise Line account, navigate to "Already Booked," and then pick the "Make a Payment" option in the dropdown menu. If you don't want to pay online,
call DCL directly.
You can make as many payments as you want as long as your final balance is zero before your due date. The final date for payment depends on the length of your cruise. For sailings that are 5 days or less, your balance is due 90 days before you sail. For sailings greater than 6 days, the balance is due 120 days before you set sail.
Remember that you can't book
Onboard Activities (specialty restaurants, spa treatments, etc) or Port Adventures until your balance is paid in full. Your window to book these magical extras depends on your
Castaway Club status. If this is your first sail, you will be eligible to be a member once you've set sail in 2026. But, if you've sailed Disney before, the great news is that you are already eligible for status! There are four Member levels, from Silver to Pearl, and each comes with the perk of booking Onboard Activities before the general public. So, if this is your first sail, you will
automatically become a Castaway Club member onboard. If this is a return sailing, make sure your final balance is paid before your Club status booking window opens!
If you have any other questions, feel free to sail on back to us. Bon Voyage!
