    How do you pay with credits with the Dining plan when you are in a counter/quick dining place? Can 1 person go to the counter an order for everyone, or does everyone have to be present to order?

    You will actually have all the dining plan credits for your whole family encoded onto all family members' cards. Rather than having specific credits for specific people, the credits are in a sort of pooled "holding tank" for the entire family.

    This means that if you'd like, you can have one person be the designated food-getter for the entire group. You could go up to the counter at Cosmic Ray's (a counter service restaurant at the Magic Kingdom) and order meals for, say, four members of family. The cast member at the cash register will swipe your card and four of the family's counter service credits will be deducted from your account.
