Hi Jackie! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Yes, cash is an accepted form of payment in the parks at Disneyland Resort, as well as credit, debit, and
Disney Gift Card. Whatever is most convenient for you!
There are a couple of exceptions on using cash related to payment with the Disneyland mobile app, however. If you want to
mobile order food and beverages at select quick service locations, you'll need to use something other than cash in the transaction, as you can't pay in advance on the
Disneyland mobile app using cash. Likewise, if you'd like to add
Lightning Lane Multi Pass on the homepage of the app for the day, you won't be able to do so with cash. If you prepaid for this option, it won't be an issue!
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and mobile ordering food and beverages are both time savers, so you might want to have an additional form of payment for use in the app. We like to mobile order our lunch, for example, while waiting in a queue for an Attraction, and we limit our time in those queues by selecting Lightning Lane Multi Pass subject to availability.
Otherwise, you should be good to go with your preferred method of payment! And since you're planning how you'd like to spend in the parks, you might consider making some additional plans ahead of your visit by taking a look at the
Daily Events Schedule. This has great information on Parades, Entertainment, Attraction refurbishments, and more. Schedules are subject to change, but it's a great way to plan your must-do activities for the day.
Have a magical time!
Elizabeth
