Can you pay cash for food and souvenirs in the parks or does everything have to be charged to a credit card using the magic bands?

    Howdy Karen!

Welcome back!  It's always so nice to see a returning Guest.   I am so happy you are fining our vacation planning advice useful.    It's my pleasure to help you out today.

Charging to a MagicBand is one of the many privileges that Guests who stay at a Disney Resort Hotel can utilize, but it is not the only way to pay.   Walt Disney World dining and shopping locations take cash, credit card, MagicBand charge and even Disney Gift Cards.   So you do not have to charge to your room account using your MagicBand if you do not want to.    I find it easy to associate a card, so that I don't have to carry a purse into the parks with me.  I simply slip my id and Annual Pass into my pocket and charge anything to my MagicBand.

I hope this has helped.  You know where to find us if you should have any other questions.  We love to lend a helping hand every chance we get.
