Can I pay an additional amount on my resort reservation before arrival?

Greetings from planDisney, Nima! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up soon, so I hope your Mickey suitcase is packed. Even pixie dust has a price tag, so let's look at how you can make a payment toward the magic.

It sounds like you have a room-only reservation at a Disney Resort Hotel, so you probably paid the first night as your deposit. If you completed online check-in, the balance should be charged to your credit card on file when your room is ready. You don't even have to stop by the Front Desk!

Sometimes, I like to stop by in person to check in, especially if I have any special requests. My husband also likes to be sure the balance is taken care of with the card of his choice, so you have that option, as well.

If you'd like to pay toward your balance before you arrive, call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line. Have your reservation details and credit card handy, and the Cast Member will pull up your account lickety-split! There's currently no option to make payments for room-only reservations online or in the mobile app.

Speaking of hotels, my husband and I have started scheduling a resort day in the middle of our visits. We enjoy a slower pace that day, and we try to take advantage of as many amenities as we can. We'll hang out at the pool, eat at an on-site restaurant, and roast complimentary marshmallows in the evening. This day away from the theme parks will recharge and refresh us for the rest of our vacation. It's become one of my favorite traditions!

Nima, I hope I've helped you "pay the piper" so you can have a practically perfect visit! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
