In the past, when traveling in the off season, we would ask and almost always receive a complimentary upgrade at our resort, With on-line check in, would this still be possible? Thanks!

    Hi Janet!

With online check-in, when you arrive at the resort you will be able to by-pass the regular check-in line and head to a special area to pick up your room keys, tickets (if you've added them to your reservation), and hotel information.

While this pick up line is serviced by a Cast Member who can answer questions for you, it really is intended to be an "express" line of sorts. You can inquire in this line about possible changes to your room assignment, but I think it would be easier to do so if you go through the regular check-in process at the front desk - however, that's just my personal opinion on it.

I personally like the interaction and check-in process at Disney, and its a great time to learn about your resort choice and its amenities. It also gives you a no-pressure, no-rush time to talk with the Cast Member to address any requests or concerns you have.

Hope you have a great trip!
