In the past, I had heard of the Sword and the Stone experience where one lucky guest may pull the sword from the stone and a celebration would occur after. Is this still happening? Does it happen often?

    Donna,

    That is a great question!

So for a while the Sword in the Stone was removed from the park (cleaning Excalibur so it can rule England is not easy work, you know?). But it is back now, so that is great news for you!

The event occurs in front of the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. There are not specific times listed in the My Disney Experience App. But if you simply ask a cast member they can tell you more specifics for that day. It is something I remember from my childhood way back when, and I am sure you would enjoy it if the timing works out.

While you are in the area waiting, you might consider going to the nearby Storybook Treats for an Arendelle Aqua Cone. That or a simple Hot Fudge Sundae is the kind of energy you need to successfully retrieve the sword, right?

    Have a Magical Vacation!
