Hey there, Jill!
Christmas is my very favorite time to visit
Walt Disney World, and my family and I go every year specifically to enjoy the
Candlelight Processional at
Epcot. There are definitely some dates that are busier than others, and sometimes that has to do with the expected narrator.
Having booked every Christmas Eve for the past several years, I highly recommend making a reservation for the Candlelight Processional dinner package if you want to attend one of the three shows on Christmas Eve. In recent years, I have seen standby guests lining up to see the show as early as noon, even though the first show doesn't begin until 5:00 PM. While the theater holds many guests, and you don't have to be in the theater to hear the music and enjoy the Christmas cheer, it is very possible seating will not be available for many guests in the standby line.
Currently, Edward James Olmos is scheduled to narrate this incredible program on Christmas Eve. We've seen him a couple of times, and we love his presentation, which incorporates both English and Spanish. He has always given a very uplifting performance, and we enjoy him very much. I would expect even if he wasn't narrating on Christmas Eve, his shows would still be quite popular.
I hope you get to enjoy this powerful holiday performance!
