Hello! Are passports needed for a 4 day Baja cruise departing from San Diego?

    Ahoy there, Elizabeth!

Welcome aboard planDisney! You must be so excited about your Disney Cruise Line vacation aboard Disney Wonder. She is one of my favorite ships and I think you will enjoy every moment on your Baja sailing.

For closed-loop (round trip) cruises from San Diego, Guests may use an original state-issued birth certificate AND a physical government-issued photo ID. Guests 15 years of age and under do not need a photo ID. Though not required, it is recommended to use a US Passport or an original valid Trusted Traveler Card (NEXUS, FAST) in case of an emergency outside the US. Remember, you must present the same identification you used during online check-in when you board the cruise, so pack it in your carry-on luggage rather than your checked bag. Guests without proper identification will be denied boarding.

Elizabeth, all this talk about important documents is making me hungry! And being hungry makes me think of Tiana's Place, one of the Rotational Dining restaurants aboard Disney Wonder. My favorite desserts are served at this New Orleans-inspired venue! Along with the lively jazz entertainment, Mama Odie's Chocolate Bread Pudding and the scrumptious New Orleans Banana Foster Sundae are sure to transport you to another time and place. And if you can't decide which dessert to choose, do what I do and order both!

Stop by planDisney any time and see us again, Elizabeth! We love answering questions from our fellow Guests and helping you create your perfect vacation.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
