Other than passports what other documentation do we need in order to board the ship (Dream) at check in?

    Welcome Aboard, Keisha!

For your sailing on the Disney Dream, a passport is not required, but if you do not have one, you will need a state-issued driver's license AND a birth certificate for each adult sailing and a birth certificate for each child sailing. But, if you have the time and the means, I would highly recommend getting passports for each member of your family. Our family always travels with passports, one of the most important benefits being if something unthinkable happens in a foreign country, we already have the necessary documentation to travel home from that country.

Other things to consider when getting ready to board the Disney Dream are medications and valuables. You will want to keep these things with you in a carry-on bag. You also might want to have your swimsuits packed in a carry-on bag, so that if you decide to head straight to the Aquaduck, you don't have to wait for your luggage to show up to your room!

I hope this helps with your planning and that you have a wonderful! Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with further cruise questions.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
