    Can we use passport card when going on the Disney Bahamas Cruise?

    Ahoy Annie!
    I'm excited to hear you will be embarking on a Bahamian adventure with Captain Mickey!
    Birth certificates and passport cards can be used for travel to the Bahamas via a cruise ship.  If air travel is needed from the Bahamas ( in the case of an unforeseen emergency), a passport book is required.   This is not a Disney Cruise Line requirement, but regulated by the U.S. Department of State.  My advice is to visit www.travel.state.gov to read up on travel regulations so you can make the best decision for your family.
