    If my passes (waterpark so no magic bands) are loaded on MDE do I still need my actual passes to get into the park?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christine! I’m so glad you stopped by with a question for us!

    I’m glad you’ve already linked your tickets to your My Disney Experience account! Having all of your vacation information in the same place makes planning your magical vacation so much easier!

    So, when you have your theme park and water park ticket information linked to your account, you can use an admission card or a MagicBand to enter parks. You do actually need one of those to be able to enter the parks because you are required to tap either your admission card or MagicBand to a Mickey sensor, to confirm that you have valid tickets.

    Christine, did you know that your MagicBand is waterproof? You can wear it while you’re enjoying time at any of  Disney’s water parks or your Disney Resort hotel pool!

    You can also use your MagicBand to make purchases if you’re a guest at a Disney Resort hotel. It’s just one of the convenient benefits of being a Disney Resort hotel guest!
