Hi Barbara,
Ooh...how fun that you've discovered old Walt Disney World Resort tickets! That's like a "Happy Birthday" or "Merry Christmas" surprise for you, and a sure way to turn any ordinary day into a MAGICAL day!
The great news for you is that Disney will honor any unused, unexpired theme park tickets. You'll simply need to figure out if that applies to your tickets or not! If your ticket is very old, before expiration dates were assigned, or if you have a No Expiration Option ticket, I'm happy to let you know that you're good to go.
Disney will still honor any remaining days on those tickets, no matter how old they are. However, any tickets purchased after 2004 without the No Expiration Option do expire 14 days or sooner after they've been activated. If you have already used some of the days on those tickets, I'm sorry to let you know that the remaining days are no longer valid. If you have an unused ticket that has expired, the great news is that
you may apply the value of the ticket that you have to a new ticket. Your best bet would be to either call a Cast Member who specializes in helping with existing tickets at (407) 566-4985 or stop by a theme park ticket window or Guest Relations location to see if the tickets that you have are still valid. I'm sending some pixie dust that you'll be able to use them! With lots of beloved classics
and many new things to experience, like Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom, you'll have a BLAST returning to the most magical place on earth!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Barbara, and please let us know if we can help with anything else!
Missy
