Greetings, Severo! Thanks for bringing planDisney your question. I love helping fellow
Magic Key holders so let's get you an answer!
When you renew your Magic Key and want to make a park reservation but your current pass has yet to expire, you must select your renewal pass before opening up the theme park reservation calendar. To do this, go to the "Theme Park Reservations" under the "My Disneyland" tab on the
Disneyland Resort website and select the "Make or Modify Park Reservations" button. Click "Book Theme Park Reservations" and this takes you to a page that lists all Magic Keys connected to your account. Since you are in your renewal period and the old pass hasn't expired, you should see two passes listed with the number of reservations available for each (i.e. 3 of 4 Reservations Available, etc.).
Severo, make sure you select the Magic Key that says renewal (for example: Imagine Key Pass Renewal), before clicking "Next" to choose a park reservation date. This should take you to the calendar with all available dates for the next 60 days. If you inadvertently selected your expiring Magic Key on this step, you would have been shown only dates until that pass expires. As of today, all Magic Key passes have availability on January 20 for at least one of the theme parks. Keep in mind that January 20 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so many of the schools in the area have that day off. So you'll want to book your reservation soon!
If this doesn't solve your problem, please come back and we can try some other ideas. You are also welcome to speak with a Cast Member via the
Magic Key Holders phone line.
Severo, thanks again for stopping by. Please

See ya real soon,
