Hi there, Vanessa!
Welcome, and thanks for visiting
planDisney with your question about theme park tickets at the
Disneyland Resort. It sounds like you may have recently become a
Magic Key holder. If so, congratulations! You’re sure to have a perfectly pixie-dusted year enjoying many theme park visits and taking advantage of all the
discounts and perks available.
Yes, generally speaking, you can reassign a wholly-unused
theme park ticket to another person. To change the names that are associated with your ticket prior to arrival, you can place a call to the ticket helpline at (714) 781-4636 and a friendly Cast Member can assist you. However, keep in mind that the names that display on the tickets on the Disneyland Resort website or in your
Disneyland mobile app are really just for convenience and organization purposes, because tickets aren’t officially assigned to a particular person until they are scanned for first use at a park entrance. At that point, a Cast Member will snap the Guest’s photo and assign the ticket to that individual for the remainder of its length.
I hope this information is helpful, Vanessa. Please feel free to
write back with any other questions you may have about the
Disneyland Resort as your next visit draws near!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
