I am both a pass holder and DVM. And was curious if you can use both discounts together on merchandise?

    Hi there, Alice!

Disney Vacation Club members are offered lots of member benefits and perks, one of the best of which is a discount on an annual pass. Both give you great discounts on dining, shopping, and special events.

Just like a potato chip in dip at the family reunion, there is no double dipping when it comes to the goodness that is Disney discounts. They don't stack. While many of the discounts are similar, the biggest difference in annual pass holder discounts are the great room discounts that you may see. I know what you're thinking - I am a DVC member, who needs rooms?

Well, DVC members often book regular resort rooms for cash when they have either used or already dedicated vacation points. I also know of other DVC members who book rooms and purchase additional tickets for special promotions like the free dining offer

Of course the biggest plus to having an annual pass along with a DVC membership is the fact that the two biggest expenses of planning a Disney vacation are already taken care of. That means you can go more often! At least that's the story I keep telling my husband - and it always works.

Enjoy a year of magic with your annual pass!
