My pass expired May 31 can I renew

    Hello there, Estella!

Welcome to planDisney and we're so glad that you joined us here with your question! I am a Magic Key Holder as well, so I hope that you've been able to enjoy that Pass over the past year. It has some amazing benefits and discounts as well as allowing you to experience the magic of the Disneyland Resort multiple times a year!

Estella, at the current time, you may renew your Magic Key Pass up to 30 days before its expiration date. Unfortunately, renewals are not allowed after your Magic Key expires. You are able to purchase an entirely new Magic Key Pass, however, and at the time of this writing, the Inspire Key is the only type that is available for new purchase.

I'm sorry that I don't have better news to report to you. Since you reside in California, one option would be the California Resident Ticket Offer which is a great deal since the ticket can be used on nonconsecutive days until its expiration date. And if you do decide to upgrade to a Magic Key Pass at a later date, you can apply the cost of the ticket towards the purchase of a new Magic Key as long as there are days remaining and the ticket is not expired.

Estella, I hope that you are able to obtain the Pass type that you ultimately want and that you are able to enjoy the Disneyland Resort during this Disney100 Celebration year. If there is anything else that we at planDisney can do for you, please feel free to reach out again anytime!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
