Hello, Judith! We're glad you contacted planDisney with your question... you've come to the right place!
First of all, thank you for being an
Annual Passholder. Mickey certainly appreciates your loyalty! There's a simple answer to your question, but depending on what type of Annual Passholder you are, there may be a few more details to explore. So, let's dive in!
If you have your Walt Disney World Annual Pass linked to your account,
you can check its expiration date by clicking the blue Tickets tab on
My Disney Experience. I just pulled up mine on the mobile app, and because I have yet to activate it, my Gold Pass shows an expiration date of 12/31/2030...I don't think I'll wait that long! Once activated, Annual Passes are good for 366 days. For example, if you activate your new pass on January 1, 2021, it will be good through January 1, 2022.
Recently, Walt Disney World Resort offered Passholders who had paid in full a one-month extension on top of the extension they received for the length of the closure (unless you choose to cancel your pass). This additional month will automatically be processed and visible in your My Disney Experience account over the coming weeks.
Seeing that you are a Florida resident, I also wanted to add another instance in case you are on the
Monthly Payment Program. Since monthly payments weren't collected during the park closures, Passholders were given a choice to either let their pass expire on the original date without paying for the closure period or have their pass extended by the four months with payments resuming when the parks reopened.
Gawrsh! If all this leaves you scratching your head like Goofy (trust me...that's how I felt), then I suggest contacting V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277 or alternatively (888) 701-4100, extension number 3 if you are on the Monthly Payment Program. They are experiencing higher than normal call volume these days, so try calling when the phone lines open at 7:00 AM EST.
We look forward to seeing ya real soon, Judith!
