We have a party of 10 traveling to Disney the first week of May. We are staying at Kidani Village and have breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare around 8am. What time will we need to leave our resort?

    Hi Matt,

You have chosen some fantastic Character Dining Experiences for your upcoming vacation.  While I am decidedly not a morning person, even I could be convinced to Rise and Shine for an early morning Advance Dining Reservation at any of those three selections.

As a fellow large-party wrangler traveler, I always advise giving yourself more time that you think you will need. As such, I would plan to head to the bus stop at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village between 6:30 and 6:45 a.m. each morning. Busses for Magic Kingdom Park generally begin service around 6:30 a.m. to accommodate Guests with early morning Advance Dining Reservations. You might want to check with the Front Desk the night before just to be sure.

For each of these restaurants, you will travel by bus to Magic Kingdom Park. To visit The Crystal Palace, simply inform a Cast Member that you have arrived for an early breakfast, and they will allow you into the theme park. This is a phenomenal opportunity for some excellent group photos on Main Street U.S.A without the crowds. Disney PhotoPass Photographers should be available to capture these special moments.

To visit Chef Mickey's, you can either hop on the Monorail which should be running by 7 a.m. for one stop to Disney's Contemporary Resort, or you can make the 5-10 minute walk on foot.

For your Grand entrance at 1900 Park Fare, you will want to bring the crew up the ramp for the Resort Monorail Loop, kick back, and enjoy the beautiful ride along Bay Lake and Disney's Seven Seas Lagoon until your departure at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

I hope that helps, Matt! Come back and visit us if we can help with anything else.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
