Hey there, Steven! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
You and your party are going to have such an amazing time when visiting
Walt Disney World Resort and staying at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort! I was just looking at some pictures of the trip where we stayed at Art of Animation a few years ago and there is so much joy and so much beauty in those photos! I forgot how much my little ones loved the
Schoolyard Sprayground, a Finding Nemo-themed splash pad!
One of the reasons we love this Resort so much is because of the convenience of it being right on the
Disney Skyliner line. A quick walk from our Guest Room to Generation Gap Bridge on Hourglass Lake and before we know it we're flying high on our way to
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, or another nearby Resort like
Disney's Riviera Resort! While we've never had a party larger than six taking a gondola ride with us, the maximum number of Guests that can be accommodated in one is 10. If your party includes a stroller, ECV, or wheelchair, that number will go down to around six. I love traveling this way with little ones because they can stay right in their stroller for the ride! Since you are traveling in a group that will need to split between two gondolas, you'll be able to decide which configuration of Guests will make you the most comfortable on your trip. Each gondola is equipped with two benches, perfect for peeking out the windowed walls of the Skyliner and checking out
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort from a birds-eye view!
If you're planning to "Rope Drop" on this vacation, (that means arrive even before the Park opens!) taking the Skyliner is a great way to arrive at the Parks early. My favorite thing about entering EPCOT after exiting the Skyliner is that you'll enter through the International Gateway entrance, putting you just steps away from the new
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure attraction! If this is on your list of must-do attractions, this is a great way to beat the crowds and ride early in the morning!
Enjoy your vacation!
