Welcome to planDisney!
A birthday at
Walt Disney World Resort is a dream for a Guest of any age. It sounds like you are a thoughtful mom who wants only the best for your kiddo. Thank you for allowing me to play a tiny part in planning your special day. It's an honor.
Walt Disney World Resort is a place for
celebrating. It's a place where everyone can feel playful and spend precious time with one another. I am happy to share with you that you can absolutely celebrate a birthday without a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation!
First things first, be sure to pick up a complimentary Celebration Button from any Guest Relations desk, Merchandise Check-Out, or Resort hotel Check-In desk. The friendly Cast Members would love to provide you with one. As the Birthday Boy wears it with a smile, Guests and Cast Members alike will wish him a Happy Birthday all day long. It's so fun!
If you are planning to spend the day with the Birthday Boy in a theme park, grab your Guests and head directly to his favorite attractions. If he is old enough, allow him to plan the day and go along for the ride. If he is a younger Mouseketeer, be sure to build in some breaks in the shade for rest and relaxation in the midst of all of the excitement.
Outside of the four incredible Disney theme parks, one of my favorite locations for a celebration is
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at
Disney's Beach Club Resort. Who can feel anything but festive when the house lights dim, the flashing lights begin to dance, and a Cast Member raises their voice to announce that a Guest has ordered a
Kitchen Sink Sundae which contains a whole can (Yes! A WHOLE CAN) of creamy topping? It's such a fun, hidden spot. Be sure to secure an
Advance Dining Reservation for this space so that you can park in the Guest lot for Disney's Beach Club Resort and enjoy your party in style.
I hope these are helpful ideas as you plan a Walt Disney World Resort birthday celebration. Please come on back and visit us with any other questions as the big day approaches. We are here for you!
Adventure is out there,
