I have a party of 10, which resorts can accommodate a party this size?

    Hi Tanya!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are a family of 6, and we often bring my parents or even additional family and friends with us to the Walt Disney World Resort. This is part of the reason we became Disney Vacation Club Members because Disney’s Deluxe Villa Accommodations work best for our large group. But you don’t need to be a Disney Vacation Club Member to stay in these rooms! Villa accommodations can be booked directly through Disney.

If you would like one large suite where all 10 of you could stay together, a 3 Bedroom Grand Villa would be exactly what you need. Grand Villas can sleep up to 12 Guests, and offer a full kitchen, a washer and dryer and large living spaces where everyone can spread out and relax. My favorite Grand Villas are located at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas, and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas. To book a Grand Villa, it's best to call 1(407)W-DISNEY, rather than book online.

If one of those in your party is a child under 3, some 2 Bedroom Villas accommodate up to 9 Guests plus a child under 3. These resorts are Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, The Tree House Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

The other option is to book two separate rooms that sleep 5, and request connecting rooms. It is important to note, however, that while Cast Members will do their best, connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed and you won’t know until arrival if your request has been met or not. If sleeping arrangements will work without connecting rooms, and it would be okay to be separated at the resort, this would be the most affordable option. You can request connecting Deluxe Studios with a kitchenette at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, and standard resort rooms that sleep 5 at many of the Deluxe Resorts on property. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort both offer rooms that sleep 5 and are in the Moderate Resort category.

I hope one of these options will work for your group! Please let us know what other questions we can help you with as you plan your magical vacation!
