Smile, Lisa! Your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth will be here before you know it, and booking a Capture Your Moment photo session is a great way to ensure your magical memories are captured on camera for you to enjoy for years to come! Especially when traveling with a large group, it's important to make sure everyone gets in the pictures, so let's talk about how to make that happen for your group of 9!
Lisa, as you know, the
Capture Your Moment photo sessions accommodate a maximum party size of 8 Guests per session, but it is also recommended for larger groups to book back-to-back sessions to allow for more time, more locations, and more smiles! In fact,
planDisney panelist Kate had success on a previous family trip booking two sessions to accommodate her group of 16 during her two consecutive sessions. While policies and availability are always subject to change and Cast Member discretion, booking two sessions for your group of 9 will likely give the photographers the extra time and flexibility needed to get everyone in the picture. I would recommend letting your photographer know about your party size at check-in for your session so that they will be prepared for the extra Guest and verify their availability to meet your request.
Because you will be capturing these special photographs, be sure to look into purchasing
Memory Maker for your trip if you haven't already! With Memory Maker, you will have access to unlimited photo downloads from all of your vacation memories, including the photos captured during your sessions in the Theme Parks.
One last photo tip I'll offer is to stop by the
Disney PhotoPass Studio in
Disney Springs if you have a chance. They offer a variety of magical backgrounds and you can take as many photos of your group as you would like with no appointment necessary. All of these images will also be included in your Memory Maker downloads! My daughter and I had a fun time capturing some memories with a larger group at the studio on a recent trip with her dance team!
Lisa, taking pictures is making memories and I'm sure you'll do plenty of both with your family on your upcoming vacation! I hope these tips are helpful and I hope you keep the magic of your time together in focus so you can develop some new family memories! If you have any other questions about how to make your vacation picture-perfect, please come back to
planDisney and let us know!
Keep Smiling,
Alison
