I have a party member missing from the Planning Party section of My Disney Experience. I've tried calling Disney but keep getting cut off. Is there any way i can fix this without speaking directly to Disney?

Hi Emma!  Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Connecting with Family & Friends in My Disney Experience makes it easy to make and share vacation plans.

Without knowing the specifics of your account or why a party member may be missing, it is going to be a bit tricky for me to assist you through this forum.  I'll be happy to try to troubleshoot with you and see if we can get your account squared away.

If this party member is a person with their own My Disney Experience account and you have not connected with them before, go to your Family & Friends list, scroll to the bottom of the list and select "Add a Guest".  If using the My Disney Experience mobile app, you'll find Family & Friends on the "My Profile" tab.  If this Guest has a Disney Resort Hotel reservation number that they have shared with you, you can enter that.  If not, select "I'll enter their name and age" and fill in the required fields.  Then select "Invite this Guest to connect" or "Share planning with this Guest".  (The wording varies slightly between the website and app.)  You will then be asked to enter the email address associated with the party member's account.  They will receive an invitation to connect, and once they accept the invitation you should be all set!

If this person was listed in your Family & Friends list previously, and they have somehow been removed, it may just be necessary to follow the steps above to re-issue an invitation to connect.

If you have a reservation for a Disney Resort hotel room or vacation package and this Guest is not listed on your reservation, you may need to call your booking agent or the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line to have this Guest added to your reservation.

Emma, I have covered the most common scenarios.  If what I have suggested does not fix the issue, feel free to write us back with more detail about the problem (please do not include any personal information) and we'll do our best to assist you.  You are also welcome to contact the My Disney Experience tech team for guidance.

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
