Riders on TRON at Night; magic kingdom

If a party member is too large to fit into the TRON ride seats (even the larger back rows), would an Individual Lightning Lane be refundable? If we wait to purchase until testing the seats, it will be sold out.

Welcome to planDisney, Marissa! I see you're making plans to enter the grid on TRON Lightcycle / Run your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort - you're going to love the thrill of this high-speed coaster and the adrenaline you'll feel with each checkpoint as you race to the finish!

Marissa, officially Individual Lightning Lane purchases are nonrefundable purchases. However, if the person in your travel party is not able to access the attraction for which you purchased this service, I would recommend reaching out to a Cast Member to see if they can accommodate you. You can do this in a few ways; while in the theme park, look for the Guest Experience Team, typically located under blue umbrellas, and explain the situation to see if they can help or offer an exception. You can also try to chat with a Cast Member in the My Disney Experience mobile app (just scroll down to the Help & Feedback section and find the "Chat With Us" tile to contact someone electronically).

Another suggestion I'll make, Marissa, is to first attempt to join the complimentary Virtual Queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run before purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane entry. You can join the Virtual Queue through the My Disney Experience mobile app at 7 AM EST, and I would recommend trying this first since it usually books up faster than we can enter the grid! In the event that you do secure a boarding group and your travel companion is unable to ride, they would not need to go through the process of trying to get a refund. In the event that you do not secure a boarding group at 7 AM, you will have another chance at 1 PM, and by that time, you may be able to try out the test seats.

I hope this helps you to plan your day! If you have any other planning questions, come on back to planDisney and let us know! We're always happy to help!

    Magic Awaits,
