Hi there, Jeffrey! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney today!
Disney Gift Cards are a great way to budget for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort; I tend to stock up on gift cards before a trip since they can be used throughout the parks for merchandise, dining, and so much more!
When you purchase your
Theme Park tickets online, you will have the option to use up to two forms of payment on your transaction, including Disney Gift Cards. What I recommend is
combining the values of your multiple gift cards online - you can combine up to $1000 onto one gift card - and then using that gift card to make your purchase. Depending on what your total transaction is, or how many tickets you will need to purchase, you might also consider splitting your tickets into multiple transactions. I actually recently did this when I purchased tickets for my family to attend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this fall since I had both Disney Gift Cards and
Disney Visa Reward Dollars to apply to my purchase. I was able to purchase three tickets in one transaction and the fourth in a separate transaction to use all of my available funds.
Jeffrey, did you know you can even use Disney Gift Cards to pay for your
Mobile Food and Beverage Orders while you're in the parks? Because we frequently take advantage of mobile ordering to save time standing in line, I always save the gift card number as a note in my phone so I can quickly copy and paste at check-out to apply to my purchase!
I hope this is helpful, Jeffrey! If you have any other vacation planning questions before your arrival, come back and
let us know! We're always happy to sprinkle a little pixie dust on your plans!
See you real soon,
Alison
