Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Caleb! You've asked a great question!
I'm all about utilizing
Walt Disney World's complimentary transportation system (wait until you experience the
Skyliner), but its fun to be treated like a VIP from time to time.
Disney's Minnie Van Service is super convenient, and it's pretty stylish, too! It works just like any other rideshare service, with one exception...the drivers are all extremely knowledgable Walt Disney World Cast Members, and they don't even need to use a GPS to get around. In fact, I usually pick up all sorts of valuable information during my rides!
Although the service works on any mobile device through the Lyft app, Guests who need an accessible Minnie Van should request one by calling (407) 828-3500. Because there is a limited number of accessible vehicles, there may be a longer wait than the non-accessible Minnie Vans, so it is recommended that you call an hour ahead of time. The accessible vans come equipped with only one car seat. When you call, explain the dynamics of your traveling party, and they will send two vehicles to accommodate you; parties of six or fewer will only be charged for one vehicle, and the payment can be made by scanning your
MagicBand.
I hope you have a magical vacation, Caleb!
