Hi Ann,
It's wonderful to hear you will be visiting with family all the way from the UK! How exciting!
I totally relate to your question. Most of my family members enjoy diverse types of cuisine, except for my youngest who is very picky eater and will prefer nuggets and a side of fries over an exotic and more elaborated meal made up of the most delectable ingredient mixtures. Restaurants at
Walt Disney World are the best at accommodating special diets, restrictions, allergies, or plain food eaters like my son.
What we normally do is mention the situation to our server to see if simple accommodations can be made. If it will require a higher level of modification, I suggest you request to speak with a chef or a Special-diets trained Cast Member. If you would like to receive more detailed information in advance you may send an email to Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com no more than 14 days prior to your trip. Also, in
this link you will find specific information about a variety of diets available that will give you an idea about how these modifications are made.
Ann, I am sure you will not have a problem finding what you need and it seems it'll be an easy fix most dining locations. I suggest you start familiarizing yourself with all dining options by visiting
this link.
Remember that we will be here for any other questions you might still have. We wish you the most amazing trip with your family!
See ya real soon!
