Sheila from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Our party on Disney Dream scheduled in January have 3 staterooms that are linked. Is it possible for one stateroom to make a reservation for live stage show for the 3 stateroom guests or must each stateroom make individual reservations?

Ahoy there, Sheila! Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question. I'm so happy to chat with you about your upcoming sailing.

Sheila, my family, and I just recently sailed on the Disney Dream with my father-in-law in another stateroom, so I appreciate this question and hope I can help. I'm glad to hear that you have already connected your reservations! This is the first step in planning together.

The Disney Dream has some amazing live performances and entertainment. This was my father-in-law's first-ever cruise and he was so impressed by Disney's Believe, Beauty and the Beast, and The Golden Mickey's, all performed in the Walt Disney Theater. These shows do not require any reservations, but I do recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before showtime to make sure you can secure seats as a group. You can find showtimes on your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. There are also a variety of other live entertainment options at various lounges around the ship that don't require reservations. When our kids were in the Edge, we loved checking out the offerings in the District Lounge.

Now, Sheila, there are a few experiences that do require reservation (some with an additional price tag). For example, on our recent cruise, the adults in our party enjoyed the Champagne Tasting. I was able to make reservations for this for both staterooms since we were connected. You are also able to make dining reservations for venues like Remy or Palo for your entire party. In addition, if you have Mouseketeers of any age who are interested in attending the Royal Gathering, reservations are required and you can make those for your group 30 days in advance of your sail date. These complimentary tickets are quite popular, so if you're hoping to score some tickets to snap photos with the Disney Princesses, make sure to log into your account at midnight on that 30-day mark.

Sheila, as the designated group planner, I hope this information helps whoever is planning for your group. Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions you might have.

    Bon Voyage!
