Welcome to planDisney where like, Moana, the sea calls us. Thanks so much for stopping by with your question.
As a Mom who has sailed with both of my children, I appreciate the need for information in advance so that you can best prepare.
While
Disney Cruise Line does
recommend Passports, currently children who are U.S. Citizens may use the Original or copy of their state-issued birth certificate when cruising on a Bahamas itinerary when sailing from and/or to: Port Canaveral, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Galveston, San Diego, San Juan, New Orleans and New York. Please make sure to visit the
Passports, Visas & Citizenship Documentation page of the Disney Cruise Line website for more information. And, please note that while this information is valid as of today, should you sail again in a few years, you'll want to check for any updates on the required documentation.
Now, one of the reasons I love Disney Cruise Line vacations for kids is that there are so many opportunities for all interests, personalities, and
ability levels. Please take a few moments to read over the document:
Information for Guests with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Priority boarding is not offered, however, you will find valuable information to make boarding as easy as possible and additional information about mandatory drills, character meetings, and more.
I'll be wishing on a star that you have smooth sailing on your upcoming adventure. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney!
