Our party consists of 3 w/ 5day park hoppers and 2 with 3day base tickets. Will I need 1 transaction to purchase Multi Passes for the 3 days we will enjoy the parks together and then another for the other 2 days? Thanks!

    Hi Susie!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney! Sounds like you have a fun trip coming up! Let’s chat about how to make sure your Lightning Lane Multi Pass bookings go smoothly.

When your booking window opens to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and choose your pre-selections, each park day on which you decide to use Lightning Lane Multi Pass will be a separate transaction.

As you go through the prompts to purchase the service, you’ll choose your park day and confirm your travel party. Then you’ll book your Lightning Lane pre-selections and complete the purchase. You’ll repeat this for each park day separately.

So, on the days when there will be 3 of you, only click their names when confirming your party. And on the days when all 5 of you will be using the service, click everyone’s names.

There are a couple of things to consider, though! First of all, make sure your entire party is linked through your Family & Friends List and everyone has their park tickets linked to their My Disney Experience account before your booking window opens.

Second (and this is where things may get a little tricky), make sure you know when each group’s booking window will open for Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

The booking window opens for Disney World resort and select good neighbor hotel guests at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to resort check-in date. The booking window for those staying off property opens at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of the park ticket.

So, if your party has a mix of check-in dates or types of accommodations, the booking window for each group may open at different times. In that case, you might want to wait to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the dates you’ll be enjoying the parks together until everyone in your party is eligible to book. That way, you can make sure you get the same Lightning Lane return times.

Of course, if everyone’s booking window opens at the same time, this won’t be an issue!

I hope that helps! Feel free to come back to ask any other questions or clarify anything before your trip!
